Substantive negotiations for a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) have reached the halfway point. See a letter to POPA members from POPA President Robert Budens and summary of management's positions.

Substantive CBA Negotiations Commence

Substantive negotiations for a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) have begun. See management's proposals and POPA's proposals.

CBA Proposals Submitted to Management

The negotiation of a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) has reached the stage where POPA has submitted its proposals to management. POPA's proposals cover awards, work schedules, telework programs, grievances, performance appraisals, quality initiatives, training, leave, overtime, and facilities such as office space. This is only an initial step in the bargaining process and changes will likely occur throughout the process. Once both parties have had an opportunity to review and modify their respective positions, POPA will post copies of both the union's and management's proposals.
